While Castilla La Mancha amazed by the variety of landscapes, topography and ecosystems, in many cases is much more amazing to see how you can completely change natural environment and landscape to move a few kilometers, and almost without realizing it.
This is the case that we are to go this route 4x4 near the town of Sonseca, Toledo, we had the opportunity to share Raul, Maria, Antonio, Naomi, Nuria, Anna and myself, Saturday March 13, 2010.
The route leads from the center of the town of Sonseca, typical steppe Mancha silhouette, wide and flat, where olives and vines thrive and provide shelter for quail, rabbits, foxes and small prey, to the foothills of Montes de Toledo, where the reliefs are sharpened, the radiant green shine quarries that dot the slopes of these mountains, and deer, roe deer and wild boar are swift from holm oak to the steep cliffs that crown these blunt peaks.
The first leg of the route runs between the town of Sonseca and calling the Fifth San Martin House, located at the foot of the Sierra del Castañar, subsystem of the Montes de Toledo.
This stretch is the most visible differences outlined landscape, as the section begins between farms and farmland annexed to the village, and ends at the exceptional and unique environment of the mountains.

After visiting the shrine, we continued a few meters to take now the Camino de Santa Barbara, turning decisively to the northeast, tuck in the direction towards the small hamlet Arisgotas, Department new moments of fun with narrow sections and large ruts before to reach this locality, Orgaz dependent on where we finished this exciting and unforgettable day of 4x4.
