The 4x4 route, we discover the most rugged and inaccessible places of Guadalajara, for the last leg of a tour itinerary more we do on the weekend of 15 to 16 May 2010, when we began our journey near Guadalajara capital, ending the next day in the town of Seeds from populations previously referred to as Hita, Cogo, and Tamajón.
The route starts from Muriel, a pretty hamlet of Tamajón, and moves along a forest track in good condition. A few meters from the start of the route Jocar find one of the depopulation cross in this section, and we have already had occasion to visit the previous day.

now continue our path diverted from the main track not to visit a desert, but to approach the summit of Sierra Gorda (1370), we reach 3kms after driving for a very broken and irregular layout that afforded us moments exciting and enjoyable driving. At the top you can enjoy extraordinary views of 360 º with an extraordinary perspective of the Sierra de Guadarrama and surrounding systems.
back to our main road, again on wide forest tracks and in excellent condition, pass through the desert of Santotis, which we can not approach because a boundary fence impedes private property, so continue the movement until near the desert of La Iruela, where again it was worth it to stop and visit these melancholy ruins of a better past.
Access to these ruins is the most difficult by far, given the need to make the approach sections of sidewalk, fire and high slope, and once in the wilderness, the wild and abrupt on its location and the weed, very difficult to move between the buildings.
Returning to the forest path and along the way, you will soon Robredarcas. This wilderness is easily accessible and quiet, so the visit did not involve us too long.
We now on a stretch of great beauty for the driving that road will lead us to the CM-1006, which will take in the direction of seed, to visit the last village left in the day, heads, also place easy access.
Here we put an end to an unforgettable weekend of 4x4 for the deepest depths of the province of Guadalajara, which left us a special taste, and above all eager to repeat.
